Jussike's Seven Friends

"A cozy spa and relaxation area for adults, called Sundayland, awaits you—a place where time seems to stand still. You can enjoy a deluxe room with all the comforts, a lavish buffet breakfast, unlimited access to the spa and sauna center, and a wide range of beauty treatments conducted by relaxation specialists. Sundayland is waiting for you!"
This is the kind of advertisement Jussike read on a flyer, and he decided, no matter what it took, he would go there. But it was only Monday. Before he could make it, he had to survive the cruel trials of the workweek. Yet his dream of peace and quiet, a cold beer, and lounging around gave him strength. Battered by a tough week, our hero Jussike finally reaches Sundayland.
We could ask all kinds of questions: Was he satisfied? Did he like it? Was it worth it? No, we’re not dealing with those. We’ll show you just one thing, the most important thing—how Sundayland welcomes him. Will Jussike feel at home in this dreamland, or will he lose control? The answer will be revealed at Von Krahl Theatre.
This production draws inspiration from Silvi Väljal’s 1966 children’s story Jussike’s Seven Friends and Aldous Huxley’s dystopian novel Brave New World.
